After many late nights/early mornings I am proud to present a small demo of Genocide Dolphins, I hope you enjoy it!

This is a 'vertical slice' demo of combat so far in GD. There are 4 missions in this demo and a highscore board.
It features one of the gangs: "The Rustic Fools". This demo is not representative of the final game which will
be an open world GTA/Yakuza style game where sometimes you do missions like this. More diverse demos will come soon.
The final game will be huge, with 3 major cities full of citizens, 6 gangs and around 180 missions like this spread across
many interiors. The main cities also feature their own missions and lots of exploration fun :-)
CONTROLS
WASD + MOUSE
E knife
Q grenade
C croud
Shift run
R reload
Space Jump
Aim right mouse button
Mousewheel swaps guns.
F can pick up explosive barrels.
To quit press tab and type quit into the console.
To suicide press tab and type suicide into the console (see known bugs)
TIPS:
Extra points for killing people with explosive barrels/grenades, headshots earn more points, even if they're already dead!
Pick up a "Jack in the box" for slow motion + 1 grenade.
Each time you die the enemies forget where you are, take advantage of it.
Shotgun kills in one hit usually, pistol takes two but has more bullets in the clip.
STEALTH helps a lot, don't let them see you if possible, you can pick off many of the Rustics before they even notice you.
Once they do see you for the first time they will appear on the radar, this is when you are in real trouble :) Note that AI don't
always blindly run after you, some are more crafty than others.
Kill everyone on a level to proceed, some may not turn up for a short while.
There's no punishment for death, apart from a small score loss when you get hit or die, scores are graded, A+++ is the best.
If you score over 400 you're doing great. Scores are stored in highscore board and a screenshot is saved in userScreenshots folder,
you can share this on social media (note this seems to be broken in this build).
KNOWN BUGS:
IF YOU GET STUCK SOMEWHERE (remember it's an early beta :)) OR CAN'T MOVE FOR SOME REASON.. first try jumping or crouching.... if you
are still stuck (apologies) TAB to open jangler console, type suicide
If you cant fire or lose mouse focus try pressing esc to get to pause screen then esc again to get back and hit right mouse button.
IF SLOW MOTION GETS STUCK ON YOU CAN ALSO suicide to end it.
If you really cant find someone to finish the level you can open the console and type radarall this will highlight them on the radar.
If you have trouble finding someone even then it could be a bug where they are out of bounds, in this case you can use killall in the
console, still trying to track down why sometimes a guy goes missing :)
QUALITY:
Press P to adjust quality if its running too slow (use escape to bring up the mouse pointer currently!), the best bet is to change
"game quality" to something lower, Moruga is for machines with decent graphics card (only tested on RTX 2080), so try lower settings.
You can toggle an fps counter by typing fps in the jangler.
MOUSE:
Invert: TAB to open jangler console, type mouseinvert to invert mouse, or if it's already inverted type it again to go back to normal
Sensitivity:
Invert: TAB to open jangler console, type sensitivity-- to reduce mouse sensitivity or sensitivity++ to increase it.
Misc Notes
This demo only features 1 type of enemy, I had some more clowns in but they were behaving strangely at times so they were culled for now.
Why so big? Actually this exe contains all the interiors of the game (just locked off for now) and all the music plus more! More will be
unlocked in future demos. Trust me it has been heavily optimised, but will be optimised further.
Guns are randomly chosen for the enemies, uzis are the toughest to fight against.
Tested on i9 9900K, RTX 2080, 128 GIG RAM, WIN10. May run slow on lower end hardware, try the quality tweaks listed above.
AI is powered by my own custom engine called RadiAI which will be available to buy on the asset store by the end of 2021.
