Sanlabs Game Studios was initially a small team of developers who invested time in conceptualizing ideas to bring out the best mobile game. The team was working on various concept without releasing anything because they all turned out to be a non – addictive and did not deliver what we were expecting when we played the game. We kept working over the time and finally it was in the mid of 2015 we got in touch with a publisher for a project. Using our industry contacts we decided to put a team together. Finally Sanlabs Game Studios is officially up in 2016 January and working our very first mobile game project. It is the one and only project the team focuses on and it is yet be titled.

Hello,

Sanlabs Game Studios is an independent developer based in Edmonton,Canada. We are working on our very first mobile game project which is a 3D Detective drama. Something similar to "The wolf among us", but completely different from
what you may have seen before. Realistic Graphics quality. We are working in
Unity 3D engine and with a publisher in place. Our team is around 25 plus people working from remote location.

We are looking for an experienced UI Artist to join our team, and help create outstanding gaming experiences for our users. You will work with an incredibly talented small group fueled by innovation.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Art Director, Game Designer to visualize and create various interface systems for our games
Design exciting and persuasive graphics that effectively communicate information and capture the excitement of our brands, from concepts to polish
Apply and maintain a consistent art style throughout the entire project interface
Work with the engineering team to ensure the implementation matching the intention
Iterate using feedback to drive and polish features to a high quality state

Qualifications

1-2 years of professional experience in building user-friendly applications as well as game user interface development
Portfolio must showcase relevant and contemporary artistry and experience
Strong graphic design skills -- particular iconography creation, artistic sense, and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop/Illustrator
Strong understanding of UI, and usability principals
Excellent organizational and methodological skills, with high attention to detail
Able to work under pressure in a timely manner without sacrificing quality
