The ultimate 3D adventure-platformer Deo is finally coming out on June 21 on Desura. We spent 3 years to develop Deo and today we are happy to announce its release on Desura.

Deo is an adventure platformer game with unique input model. Enriched with various input actions Deo is a truly challenging game for even the most experienced gamers. Deo can fire seven fireballs in normal fire state and big fireballs on the fire button held down. The acceleration button gives Deo the ability to run faster and jump higher. The jump button is used for jumping and gliding. One of the most cool features is Deo's full controller support. You will be able to play the game with Joystick/Gamepad or keyboard. In addition to this the game is translated in seven languages - English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Bulgarian.

The whole adventure consists of five worlds:

Mountains and Valleys -> Aquatic world -> Ice world -> Lava world -> Dark castle

These worlds consist of day/night/afternoon levels with snowy, foggy, rainy and stormy weather for one unforgettable and exciting adventure. To be able to pass to the next world Deo has to complete a magical melody and play it to unlock each world's gate. Besides the notes Deo can collect gems, golden keys, cure and health pack, invincibility crowns and others.

The game features various enemies such as flying bats, wizards, poisonous plants and chests, falling icicles, movable platforms and many others.

The gems and graphical style remind me of the old Spiro games from back when I was a lad. Which is definitely a compliment, by the way :)

Somehow this creates N64/PSX retro-feeling.
