This update, like the last update(v2.5), is more about aesthetics and does not change any of the gameplay.
This time around, I have played with lighting in the last 2 maps going for a more dramatic look.
There is one room that always bugged me before because I was never able to get a look I liked without adversely affecting performance.I finally decided, with a great deal of reluctance, to change the ceiling texture which allowed me to focus the light source more like a spotlight. As you can see in the comparison shots, this looks much better but doesn't use any additional light sources.
I have included a couple of comparison screenshots to demonstrate the difference that relatively minor change makes.
