We are about to start another test, introducing the serious mode gameplay!

###### SERIOUS MODE ##########
Not alot to explain here, this should be pretty simple, the serious mode is a server setting: this means its something that can be toggleable/changed at runtime, up on how each wipe/story is set to be, and as a server setting it impacts directly the gameplay.

On serious mode basically every KO will result in a dangerous death risk, UNLESS the battle happened while a nurse was performing First Aids nearby.

Keep in mind the Death Risk value we see, isnt the real chance of death of a pokemon, thats just a "health" display, as you can see the chance of surviving is basically the DR -40%.
Anyway, on serious mode a single KO will take you 60% DR, leaving your pokemon on the red-zone (basically badly ill/dead untill you find a medic)
Keeping using that pokemon and getting it knocked out again will raise your DR to 100%, wich means a medic can't save him anymore, but that pokemon might keep going (each KO means he have 60% dieing for real etc).

Pretty simple concept, keep in mind DR also affects the battle efficiency of a pokemon, higher death risk weaker your pokemon will be. UNLESS you are a Berserker, Berserker are villains that actually get their pokemon stronger on higher DR.
Nurses FIRST AID system changed, basically now when a nurse perform first aids, they will be READY to save the nearby pokemon and prevent them from getting injured upon KO.
This means if a nurse have first aids active near your battle, the battle is "SAFE" from the serious mode's injuries.

The red cross icon will be visible when a nurse is performing the first aids, also a prompt on chat when they trigger it
Moving, being attacked, or any complex interaction will turn off the First Aids
First Aids can no longer directly remove the DR of a pokemon, thats now with Medic's Surgery's, those are able to reduce DR from 98% to 0.
(keep in mind in order to use surgery the pokemon must be out of the pokeball, aka, they have to have survived and gotten up, or be healed before being returned.)
Official Gym Battles ALWAYS have a first aid in it.
as its sponsored battles watched by the league, the official battles wont cause the serious mode's injuries. UNLESS the battle goes on over what the league assists:

Example: If the official battle ends, the free Frist Aid wont be active in the arena.

Quick Answer: YES YOU DONT do casual battle on street in a serious mode (unless theres a nurse player as referee making the battle safe)
In serious mode battles are lethal intended, and every lethal interaction REQUIRES you to have IC reasons and proper RP.
wich leads us to the next thing to explain:
Better Logs, we are moving toward to a more complex game logging system, alot more verbs and interactions will be logged

Such as PVP battles, (serious ones), Credits purchases, Admin verbs, Database edits, and more will have their own log page

-- Projects Fixes
Auto Projects received the last rolls of bugfixes late last wipe, and finally they are properly working
with that, I reviewed the reqs for most auto projects, and made the early games ones will be way more affordable and doable. The late games ones have near impossible requeriments still, but those requeriments can be reduced at runtime as the story and rps related to the lategame projects advances etc.
toward the early game ones and changes, I will try to list here some so you understand that they got REALLY easier:
On Labs:

-Invent Pokeball req now is:
10k money, 20 apricorn, 2 voltorb, score 2500, 3 members+. (start by: Scientist), these can join (Scientist, Genius, Engineer)
-Invent Greatball req now is:
50k money, 100 apricorn, 50 Pokeballs, 10 voltorb, score 5000, 3 members+. (start by: Scientist), these can join (Scientist, Genius, Engineer)

On Centers:

-Invent Potion:
20k money, 20 heal powders, 5 moss, 5 honey, 1 Oddish, 1 Chansey, members 3, score 2500 (start by Chemist); these can join (Scientist, nurses, genius, medic, chemist)

... ETC
I wont list all that changed, mainly because those can be checked ingame
as people start investing on early games auto projects
(for newbies: keep in mind those auto projects are to discover/invent a knowledge, once someone discover it, that person is able to teach to other people, so if something is already invented/Discovered, its way easier to learn that, all you need is someone willing to teach you etc. wich goes on depending on how the RP flows)

-- New Knowledges:
Track Habitat (You know how to track the remains left by pokémon! if you know what you are looking for it will be easier to locate wild pokemon!)
Using this knowledge's skill, while facing a pokemon will let you track the pokémon through the nearby route:

If you use it on a pokemon that simply never been on that route, the first lines wont show, but if this pokemon existed in that route, but died out it also will tell you that.
However tracking habitat isnt limited to be used on pokemons you are facing, actually if you face nothing, it can be used from pokémons in your knowledge
However you need to select a pokemon knowledge that you know atleast 50% to track it
Well, to discover/invent the tracking habitat knowledge: its an auto project startable on Poke Centers:
Reqs:
50k money, 20 leftovers, 5 moss, 5 honey, 1 growlithe, 5 pidgey, 5 spearow. Startable by scientists, 3 members and 2500 scores.
can join: scientist, collector, ranger, investigator and genius
aka yeah its an early game knowledge

-- Buffs on appeals:
as was tested last wipe, appeals were too difficult/not worth the effort. so the ratio it raises got boosted over 20x!
lets see how it goes now

--Minor fixes and QoLs:
Fixed a bug with forget ea on transformed pokemon
Changed the battle mode's window backgroudn from a gif to a static image to make some ppl lag less
Fixed a bug where arenas were boosting similar to a perk, when they were meant to be nerfed
Show Speed command now shows the resulting speed after the pokemons BE boosts. (perks etc)
Raise salary base cost changed from 2k to 5k.
Farmer amount of eggs changed to 1, WC RPP rewards 3 eggs.
Fixed a bug with Blissey's evolution
Fixed a bug with Sdef natures
Fixed a bug with Eggs giving eggs
Magnezone nerfed, now evolves at minimal lv 60
Fixed a bug with long gym battles giving street battle rewards
Fixed a bug that let yourself be set as your own BF (no more self love)
Fanatics shouldnt have a downside debuff like Type specialists, mainly because this perk is already way more limited

--Starter changes:
To increase variation on first starters, we know the game already lets profs and assists to create their own custom starterballs from farmed pokemon, but early game they all have the same default starter pool.
However now this changed, each player will have a randomized default starter pool that will vary from these commons:
Voltorb,Rattata,Geodude,Meowth,Pidgey,Spearow,Bellsprout,Machop,Caterpie,Weedle,Diglett,Krabby,NidoranF,NidoranM,Oddish,Paras,Sandshrew,Goldeen,Zubat

—- New pokemons

Alolan meowth and Persian are in, also two special pikachu for the serious mode theme: detective and murdered pikachus
Detective always have talking Pokémon ability, while murderer have insomnia and as a special it always unlock either static or lighting rod aswell
Murderer pikachu typing is dark electric while detective is psychic electric
Extra moves are amnesia and zen headbutt on detective pikachu and psycho cut and night slash on murderer
The missing final evolutions also added: togekiss, tangrowth and mamoswine
This also lead to the new move: psycho cut that’s also added on the Pokémon’s ig that should’ve learned it
Psycho cut is a 2 tiles range move that’s able to drag in the foe, giving this a great melee control move
