Back in September, Aubrey and John attended a conference in Austin, Texas called Fantastic Fest. When we announced that we would be giving a presentation there, many of you asked us to record it.
Well, it turns out that James and Lisanne from BlinkWorks managed to record the whole presentation, and kindly made it available to us! If the name BlinkWorks sounds familiar to you, it's because they are the team behind Indie Game: The Movie , which we are super excited about (you may recall our previous post).
Be sure to watch it in HD!
John tried to design this talk as a 20 minute summary of our entire development process, which was a fairly daunting task after two years of hard work. This is the first presentation we've managed to have recorded and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Again we owe a big thank you to Fantastic Fest Arcade and BlinkWorks for making this possible.

John you look too damn nervous...
A really enjoyable and informative view ! It's always cool to see the origins of a project and what propelled it on from there. Not to mention the level of talents behind the project. Wow !
One thing I have to say is how well you've implemented the " be our own PR " idea wonderfully. It really is a lot of fun and interesting ( for me ) to follow the periodic stages of Overgrowth's development, which you guys have managed to present consistently well. I've grown to look forward to them.
One things for certain, you all have a bright future ahead. Keep up the great work.
How in hell did that comment wind up there ?
That was awesome! It's nice to look back and see where you started from and where you ended up to.
Really interesting. Thanks for posting it :)
So close to me, if only I had known I would have gone.
very inspiring video, thanks :)
Very well done, very inspiring!
Really like the behind the scenes feeling. All the promotion sequence.
Very well planned and beautifully recorded.
That's it. I'm preordering the game.
Made his first game in second grade?! The next Bill Gates!
Really great video. Very informative, entertaining, and covered literally everything I remotely would've wanted to know.
