I know that I'd been talking about my plans moving forward, setting out stages, phases, and long term goals. I'm posting this to let you know that I'm going to be putting any further development on hold for the foreseeable future.
On Saturday, August 29th, a terrorist singled out a Patriot Prayer supporter and shot him dead in the streets of Portland Oregon. The victim's only crime was holding an opposing perspective, for which he paid the ultimate price.
As some of you may know, I live in the US. My family and I have been watching the events of the last several months unfold with ever growing concerns, as I'm sure those of you also in the US have been. The situation has been steadily deteriorating with little, if anything, being done to stop it. Evidently, as long as you don't riot in front of a mayor's or governor's house (and have the politically approved agenda) you can do just about anything you want.
As a result I need to devote my time to ensuring the security of my family for what looks to be a very rough coming few months. This means drastically reducing the time I spend on non-critical activities; this mod being among them.
I can't tell you when I'll be able to continue my work here. I can't even tell you if I'll be able to continue my work here. I don't know what lay ahead for me and for us collectively. I so truly hope that in a few months that I can look back on this post and be embarrassed because of how foolish it turned out to be. Until that day, duty.
