Writer, reader, Netflix addict. World builder, language creator, researcher, dabbler. I'm interested in practically anything and everything, I work part time in an academic library, and I'm always learning something new. Even if it's just that forums are more distracting than I'd like to admit. I have a certificate in Graphic Design (and to teach ESL), a BA in English with a Japanese minor, and I'd like to pursue the HCDE MS at UW in Seattle. As long as I don't get drawn back into Illustration, Linguistics, Translation/Interpretation, or some other area of study! I've played around with Maya, Unity, UDK, Blender, and a variety of other 3D and 2D software - I'm most proficient with Photoshop, but enjoy others for a variety of uses/needs - and I'm currently self-studying UI/UX design. And texturing for 3D, when I find the time (or I'm not knitting).
