I have been working on the Urisis project for the past 4 years, I have working on indie games for 10 and yes it's only me working on them. I work with YOYO Game's Game Maker family and I am very passionate about my project. It proves to me that even with a crew of one, I can create a masterpiece. In the earlier test runs and as of July 2013, Urisis officially runs on the OUYA game/media center console, and now my wanting and concern is to launch the title's name, that is URISIS, to the minds of the many, and faithful who enjoy and love indie games with a passion.
My Vison, creative child, and big chunk of my life - Urisis the Darkthrone Urisis revolves around a beautiful, ancient, and magical world dedicated to peace, prosperity and love. Yet it wasn't always like this. Many centuries before, the world of Urisis upheld a war between the good of it's people and the dark cold race of beings who inhabited the cold regions of Urisis. This cold evil race of beings where led by Draconan, king of the Darkthrone determined to rule the planet of Urisis. The King of Urisis who was then Urek would not stand to see his world he so much loved, cast in flames, and so it was done. After a ferocious clash Draconan was soon encased in stone with magic and might but this was only the beginning. After centuries of peace and prosperity the secret evil race of the cold steadily pieced themselves with an army of evil so powerful it overtook the then old Urek. With his blood they revived Draconan and overtook the army of Urisis and set Urisis in flames. All was gone except for the one they named Merciless... as the one son of Urek, Merciless, overtook control and vowed to bring the land to it's rightful throne. FEATURING over 27 Unique and Playable Warriors + 5 Hidden all With Alternate Costumes for a Total 64 Unique Sets of Character Animations, 34+ Huge Stages, 3 Stages Per World with More to Come, 1 and 2 Player Co-Op. 2 Player vs Deathmatch, Special Cheat Menu, Enabled New Combo System Implemented, Save Feature, Enabled Music Test, Crazy, and Intense Retro Styled Gameplay and Graphics, Unique Weapons/Projectiles for Each Warrior Along with Unique Game Play Styles, weapon slashing. And featuring intriguing Cutscenes. Special Note - Changes are being made to the number of players it's more than double the amount. More scenes are being added. More levels are being built. I'm now I'm in need of some feedback, please comment on progress, music, graphics, gameplay anything.The Soundtrack for Those who are Wondering With about 5 years of hooking up my keyboard to my PC and using Fruity Loops to compose tracks I have laid out an important aspect responsible for the feel and mood of the game. There will be two sets of music to choose from, retro and original. Please comment on the tracks, I get mixed reviews and want to know if I should revamp the music as well. They are available to watch on my YOUTUBE channel under BLOODSHADOWGAMES. Funding - Funding will go into making perfection, that is revamping many aspects of the game. I will of course engulf in advertising on numerous sites and I will attempt to hire some more to join the crew of what is BLOODSHADOW GAMES. Oh and of course those awesome rewards will make up a big chunk of where the money will go, I want to build a huge fan base based on the rewards themselves.
