Gameplay The player starts at 12 AM and is only equipped with a candle as they wander through the house and wait until 3:33 AM, the player must be careful to watch out for objects that move on their own accord as it signals the Midnight Man is nearby. If the player gets too close to the Midnight Man their candle will go out and they only have 10 seconds to relight it before the Midnight Man catches them the player cannot relight their candle if they are close to the Midnight Man. The Midnight Man’s presence also distorts the character’s vision if they view him directly and their vision will return to normal once they stop viewing him.
