Outer Space hails from the arcade game “Space Invaders” released in 1978, making the franchise even older than that of Mr. Game and Watch (1980)! In Crusade, the stage features 2 long platforms one above the other, making it a popular choice among players for off-hazard matches.
The visual “sharpening” of the stage is something we thought was much needed seeing as Space Invaders is undeniably of great historical importance to gaming itself.
