Awaiting wednesday for the early access, I also am developing the game. More cool stuff was added.
The screenshot is taken from the newest level which takes you into the skies. That adds an interesting twist to the gameplay as you constantly fear falling down - thus ending your run as a hero and starting the level again. It makes the fights more challenging and diverse.
Most importantly, the game now features music and soundeffects. The music is a retro-8bit-style piece which really goes straight in line with the atmosphere of the graphics and the gameplay!
I worked on the level editor and the game, making some general adjustments. Saving and loading supports you with more feedback and the actual function now makes adding new levels really easy. Just create the level, add entities and the player position if you want to, save it - done. The level is aligned wherever it was placed.
The game can now be actually closed by just clicking Escape and confirming it. That was due and quickly added.
