Songs of Syx Demo v1 file

Instructions

Regardless of platform, you will need java to run the demo. Most PC's already have this installed. You can always try to run the game first and see what happens. Java is not included in the demo in order to reduce file size.

Guide to installing java

Windows

Download, extract and double click SyxDemoMVP.exe

Mac

Download and extract.

Open the terminal

type: cd [path to SyxDemoMVP.jar]

type: java -jar -XstartOnFirstThread SyxDemo.jar

Linux

Download and extract.

1 cd [path to SyxDemoMVP.jar]

2 java -jar SyxDemoMVP.jar

Bugs

There will be bugs. If you manage to get the game running, every bug should open a bug-report dialogue with instructions on what to do. You can email us the report, or paste it on discord. The report should also be saved as a file in the base directory of syx. It's helpful if you describe what you were doing before the bug manifested itself.
