The tech demo is almost finished.
Right now I am finalizing everything that we have in the current tech demo. This includes combat, GUI, art, and other things. I am excited to show you how we stick out from most other batch games in both our world building and general gameplay. The tech demo will include the introduction to the story, the first city, and a small area surrounding the first city with a few quests and such.

Followers
We have officially added followers into the game. They are in need of a bit of implementation as this does make significant changes to the combat system, but they are implemented. How they will work is that you can have two followers at the same time. As you use them to fight they level up thus increasing there damage . If you trade your follower in for another he does end up loosing his stats
and you have to get it again.
Quest System Explained
The quest system will be fairly simple. You can have 3 active quests at a time. Each quest will be your typical quest without becoming mindless go there grab this quests. The main story wont have a main quest line so that people take the chance to explore more. While this issue is still under debate among out writers we are starting to lean more towards not having one in order to promote exploration.
New Items
We have added quite a few new items. For instance we recently added tents that you can use to both heal yourself and save your position. So if your not very close to your nearest Inn and you are in a proper area you can set a tent to save your game.
We have also added items like ale and whiskey which can passively heal you when you are not in combat. We also added the ability to get drunk at taverns X3
