A text adventure game that hopes to offer more to its field. While it follows the main style of making a choice and going there this game removes the linearity and lack of gameplay that usually makes games like these boring and dull. Cobalt Order: Ameliorant hopes to provide an immersive and well written fantasy experience with an exciting emphasis on adventure and combat mechanics.

Post news Report RSS A bit of a peek into the lore.

I was thinking that it'd be nice to show you how serious we are by posting a bit of the lore here. I'm not the writer for this project, but I do hope you enjoy what we do have. My partner, Seann Sutton, does the writing for this project.

Creatures:

Black Ooze:

Black Ooze is found deep underground, and is somewhat of a rarity. So much so that miners believe that it's a myth, but apparently they're wrong. Black Ooze can seep through cracks, taking on the form of a thick black liquid. It's extremely adhesive, as well as corrosive and venomous. Black Ooze suction to their victims and drag them away, eventually dissolving them into mush that can be processed as nutrients. Little is known about Black Ooze due to their rarity and danger.

Cavats:

Cavats are rat-sized mice. Of course, mice and rats don't exist, and cavats are hairless. Cavats live in burrows and can leap up to three times its size.

Lesser Demons

(We will only be showcasing one form of this demon.)

Classification: Gore

Material: Blood of a Sasauran descendant, or highly
enhanced blood of a human

Description: Where the eyes should be are empty sockets,
the head otherwise featureless, lacking hair, ears, a nose, or a mouth.
However, the skin can part to reveal the jagged and 6-inch obsidian spikes that
serve as teeth, but will stitch back together over the course of a few seconds.
The arms and torso are elongated, three fingers on each hand that end in sharp
claws. Unlike humans, there is no belly button or nipples, as it’s unnecessary.
The body then slims into that of a “trouser snake,” a long tail of a snake but
made from skin instead of scales. The entire form’s color is unknown, as it’s
perpetually drenched in the same blood that was used to summon it, no matter
how little there was.
