Seasons Forever:Winter Edition (SF:WE) has taken a different road, we've left the quake 3 engine because we seriously had lack of interest of coders, so we decided to make our move to DarkPlaces. DarkPlaces is a Quake 1 Engine Modification which has some seriously cool features involved within it.
Vortex has been coding on getting our Q3 Animations working inside Quake 1 and he's so far succeeding, he's been working well for us along with Gleeb. Gleeb is awaiting the animations to be finalised before starting on the main SF:WE code.
We don't have shaders active in DarkPlaces so there isn't any cel shading, but we're hoping LordHavoc (Owner of DP) will code in some real cel shading.
The HUD will be done asap so we can rid of the smelly old Quake 1 version ;p

This will push DarkPlaces developmment even more than Transfusion, Nexuiz, Nehara and other games :D so this is ultra-good news for both the standalone camp and the quake* camp.
