My impressions:

- Nice looking menu, great music
- The lack of resolution and fullscreen is not good
- The tutorial is a bit lacking, should be more descriptive
- Combat is very confusing and frustrating. I can't see how far can I reach, but it seems my enemies have longer reach. It could use way more visual and sound info, like the trails sword swings have in cartoons, etc.
- Controls are rather clunky
- The game seems to be of the challenging variety, wich I like

Most the times I died (wich happened very often) were either due to being confused as to what's happening and due to bad controls.

It's a fun game, though, and if the combat is improved I could see myself having many great times with it.

-The game has a fulscreen option =) ( dont remember wich F key it was )
-Yeah the range thing is easily fixed with a trail and I will add one.
-Enemies range depends on their weapon and attack type so does yours.
-Tutorial is poor and as old as the game havent really put any effort to it thats why I asked people to read the read me =)
-The game was even harder but I made it a lot easier thou this is pretty much like dark souls in the terms of once you learn the game it gets easier thou the game is meant to be hard like old rogue likes
-Controls can be changed but I admit they are a bit confusing, improvement ideas?

Thanks for the feedback hope you arent disappointed this is a very early version =)

I do hope that the movement isn't confusing as many older games I played used that scheme, the use/pick/cast/bind buttons might be.

Please give me feedback how I could improve the controlls and I will make it so, thou I wont change it to diablo style movement!

Fullscreen is F4, (still remember it from the days I made things in GM myself) but it is a pain to look at because the resolution stays the same.

I read the readme, wich helped me to know all the controls before the tutorial. Still took me some time to get through the tutorial (4 adventurers had to die before I did it)

The game does remind me of roguelikes, wolves are brutal :)

I will play the game more and think about the controls and post here later, if you don't mind. I don't want to make any hasty decision on them.

I was surprised how polished the game is, most alphas are just barebones but this game is not that far from being finished.

Also, what do you mean by Diablo style controls? I have never played it.

Please post much feedback and comments.
Unlike many others I want to make a game for the players with the communitys and the betatesters help =)

The game has lots of rogue like stuff thou most of them happens in the code, some are very rare like permanent panelties or bonuses and some enemies and gear only appear when certain level is achieved.

Just wait when the game has seasonal weather effects and random global events like holidays, floods, pestillence, gods do something etc.. these are also random and efefct everything =) Luck also plays a huge part in the shadows.

You think wolf are brutal you should have seen them when there were no starving wolfs and they were always led by an alpha wolf. =D Yeah I have gotten a lot form my beta testers that wolfs are insane, tried to fix that a lot.

With diablo controls I mean point and click movement, click there character goes there. Click item character pics it up. Some how I have never liked that =D

Didnt like diablo 2 much but I loved diablo 1 on playstation because it was hard had lots of horror and much rogue like things thou it was a hack and slash.

Well, I haven't yet gone past level 2, so I can't really say anything about high level stuff..

Wow, you certainly have a lot of plans for the game, but then again, if you have made so much and called it an alpha, I believe you will actually be able to finish all this.

How do you read scrolls? Neither E or T works on them. Of the two times killed the wolves in the "Find mister Stupid in the forest" I couldn't finish it because I could not read the scroll after searching the corpses.

Sorry, not much time left. Will post again tommorow.

I will finish this game dont worry. I have been making games for 10 years this isnt my first one. =)

Srolls are read with the number keys. You can also rarely find tomes that will increase some stats permanently or decrease.

That quest is unfinishes like most of the quests.

Because in my game if you arent fast enough or wont kill someone it affects the whole game. Like the badbusiness quest in the beginning thou it will later be random encounter. If you wont save the merchant certain artifact store will never open. Or if you cant save the woodsman in time he wont ever be able to teach you expert archery.
Or the to slay a lord quest if you wont kill him and exept his bribe he will later cause serious problems with Kerim village.

Im aiming to make this game feel greatly different each time. Im good at mamking random thing and things that player effects. This game will feel differetn each time. Each character will get their own starting location and quest that somehow later on contacts with the main quest. Now omly paladin, priest and cleric have a starting quest.

You should see the amount of great lore made for this game. Me and my betatesters have been thinking it over and over for year now =) Very interesting stuff.

Wow, the game is way deeper than it initially looks. Maybe I will see it myself if I ever get past the goddamned wolf quest.

The 7-0 ability hotkeys are not very handy with the WASD layout and it is only worse that you have to select the skill before using it through rightclick. I think it would be better to have the hotkeys at VBNM where you can press it by the thumb of the left hand and pressing the key should also use the ability immediately, not just select it.

Good feedback. Ill make it happen =)

Already making attack animations have more images and longer, addind some sort of distance location for attacks and fixed loads of buggs. Also some improvement for collision detection for the player. Might fix few issues in AI path finding and add some group AI.
