The Keepers are rising once again but in a better visual universe, with improved AI and possibly online play' Natural Born Keeper is an ambitious project spear-headed by a programmer nicknamed IKSLM' His aim is to re-make the classic game Dungeon Keeper, but in immense 3D graphics, adding some new and exciting features along the way' This is no easy feat, and IKSLM and the rest of the NBK team have been pain-stakingly modelling the creatures, rooms, items etc' and creating textures to an unbelievable standard' The coding also has to be re-done, this is far more audacious than a simple re-make! For the next version of NBK i want to include a main menu. But somthing that shows of some of the things that dungeon keeper has to offer. Perhaps showing nice rooms or imps working. As its just a map in which the camera rotates round feel free to take advantage of the creature/imp ai.

Does anyone know any maps which would look 'good' or even if someone would be willing to make a nice one, ill include it in the next demo of NBK (which i hope to be relativly soon). (i would do it myself but they tend to look terrible)
I only need the own, slb and tng file.

P.S. ADiKtEd works well - if you place the map.exe (and other files) inside NBK/data/resouces it works so you can easily view the map in NBK. (change levels.conf to load your map)

Thanks, for the next release I want the main menu and a 'playable' level. (just a tutorial one showing how to build rooms and what not)

I like the idea of the rotating room, in which you can see the ai at work. It's kind of like the impression I got when I first booted up half-life 2 8 years ago and saw the realtime main menu, it's really immersive!

The fortress type DKI map is always a useful one.

I doubt that download map would work for this but if you want just give me the tools and I'll make it. (Although if you've coded the game to use DKI maps then no remake of the map will be necessary)

NBK uses the DK1 map file format so it will work out of the box! I will check it out soon!
