Metropixel is a retro styled future noir platformer/action/shooter/mystery game. The artistic direction of the game mixes retro like graphics with current generation effects..using post processing/shaders/particle engine etc.. which will be used to enhance 8bit like art in 2d. In this way Metropixel is not only a future noir game but also I guess an 8-bit noir game. The player is a detective investigating the recent increase of crime in the city of Metropixel and will be given different assignments to investigate an interconnected plot. Metropixel is largely inspired by the movies Blade Runner, Metropolis, Brazil and Philip K. Dick's story "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?". Metropixel is being created for both xbox live indie marketplace & pc. (For more info read the description which is a bit more in depth towards the story.)
