The combat gear will be shown on the character in-game. So if for example you switch from a sniper rifle to a sub-machine gun, the ammunition pouches will be replaced by the historically correct, elongated sub-machine gun magazine pouch. Likewise switching to a light machine gun the player will be equipped with a box of ammunition.

i honestly never noticed till now that no matter which weapon you took in a game the player would always have the same ammo pouches..
very nice idea!
Man you guys are pumping out updates! Sounds and looks really great, I would LOVE for situations where you are running low on ammo and need to forage for weapons/supplies off of enemies or teammates. I don't know if it's what you guys have planned but keeping frontlines supplied and not just blowing clips of ammo on bushes or holding fire until you get better shots would be a big refresher than the constant pray and spray of most modern shooters.
That's AWESOME!!! This is the kind of stuff that separates a really good game from the perfect game.
keep up the good work!
Nice and shiny! But unfortunately there wasn't 5.56mm (or .223 remington) ammo in world war II, it's first use was in the '60...
i was about to say that confused me xP
Well spotted bossbob88 - I'll pull Reto.Mato's ears and get him to fix it :-)
nice detail... i cant see any real purpose in game, but anyway, it`s sure is a nice detail
That is just mind blowing. Superb stuff.
