Menus are important, and the current menu in Hangeki just isn't pulling it's weight. We've been hard at work refining the game to provide a better experience to you, the player, and the new menu design addresses a lot of the problems of the old menu.
1) Single level list.
No more clicking through extra menus. All the levels are listed in a single, scrollable list.
2) Local Score and Global Score preview
Now you can see local scores without beating a level. Not only that, but you can preview both scoreboards without pressing any button. Of course, if you want to see the full scoreboard, just click it or press the appropriate shortcut key.
The weapon select has gone through an overhaul as well:
1) Wider layout to let both players see weapon info at the same time.
2) Improved weapon info.
More of what you care about, less about what you don't. The stat bars are gone. Now weapons show their cooldown, combo multiplier, difficulty, and basic icon for what they do ( offense, defense, or utility )
There may be some unfamiliar icons in the screenshots, we'll talk about those later ;)
So there you have it. The new menu system makes several improvements over the old system. Be sure to look out for an update soon to get your hands on it.
