So this is the day in #gnc2development when the very first alpha build is uploaded and I'm waiting for a very small closed circle of testers to try it out, let me know what they think, what they notice is off, what ruins the game and so on.

So this is the day in #gnc2development when the very first alpha build is uploaded and I'm waiting for a very small closed circle of testers to wake up (literally, build got up before 6am because I don't sleep well lately) and try it out, let me know what they think, what they notice is off, what ruins the game and so on.

This is actually sort of a demo, a vertical slice that contains all the game systems and ideas, that needs to be tight and running smoothly, so I can start adding levels slowly. What's there to see right now? Almost all menus, story intro, first ~tutorial~ level, base camp store for unlockable upgrades, world map with level selection and infopanel...

First reactions are that pixelart is much better than in the first game, but that was not so hard to achieve, because of my goals in the first game and what that led to in art department. There are some notes on functionality, but people seem to be pleased with what I've done.

Hopefully, there's gonna be enough of the game to show off to public soon.
