Falling Block Game is a modern take on a well-known block-stacking classic with high resolution graphics, smooth animations, retro sound effects, background music, and fast-paced gameplay. Blocks fall from the top, try to form complete lines by moving/rotating pieces. The more lines you complete at once, the more points you score.

Falling Block Game v0.4 has been released. This version features improved animations, sound effects, and adds Linux packages. With this release, Falling block Game is now 100% feature complete.

Falling Block Game v0.4 is now available from the game's web site: Fbg.sourceforge.net

This release brings Falling Block Game to "feature complete" status after over 10 years of "on and off" development (yes, mostly "off"). If you're a fan of block-stacking games, I hope you'll find this to be a very simple and very polished tribute to the genre.
