A few things publicly involving Evolution have happened here recently. In regard to Mod DB, two new images have been added to the gallery today, entitled Tidal Precision Rifle. Belonging to the same faction as the sonic shotgun, this weapon is much further along in the visualization/execution of the world and more clearly shows the differences of the factions simply from an artistic standpoint. Hopefully you, the viewer, will also have a general idea as to how the two weapons preform based on their appearance.
I have also moved the progress of the mod from 10 percent to 20 percent. While artistically, the mod is far from completion, I feel enough content has reached into the builds to warrant change. This includes models, animations, storyline/setting, multiplayer structure bsp, and vehicle tuning.
In addition, the Evolution team has become affiliated with Halo 2 Vista.net, a forum based community planning to hit the ground running once the game reaches retail. The team's main website at evolution.halopcstudio.com will still remain the official home, but Halo2Vista.net will be much more active. If you are interested in finding an active place to discuss this mod, www.halo2vista.net is definitely the place, now. And oh yes, after expanding to H2V.net, an FAQ is currently being written covering Evolution. You can expect it amended to the mod's profile shortly.
