Welcome to E-Genes, Life Evolution Simulator. This simulator is based on Charles Darwin theory of evolution by natural selection. The theory of evolution by natural selection describes how organisms mutate and evolve over generations through the inheritance of physical or behavioral traits. Individuals with traits that enable them to adapt to their environments will help them survive and have more offspring, which will inherit those traits. Individuals with less adaptive traits will less frequently survive to pass them on. Over time, the traits that enable species to survive and reproduce will become more frequent in the population. In this ecosystem only the fittest will survive.

This simulator is based on Charles Darwin theory of evolution by natural selection.

The theory of evolution by natural selection describes how organisms mutate and evolve over generations through the inheritance of physical or behavioral traits.

Individuals with traits that enable them to adapt to their environments will help them survive and have more offspring, which will inherit those traits.

Individuals with less adaptive traits will less frequently survive to pass them on.

Over time, the traits that enable species to survive and reproduce will become more frequent in the population.

  • Creatures can be Herbivores, Carnivores or Omnivores.
  • Carnivores and Omnivores can Hunt or Scavenge.
  • Plants have 9 physical genes with several ranks.
  • Creatures have 14 physical genes with several ranks.
  • Neural networks. Over 500 Inputs and up to 22 outputs! Millions of possible behaviours.
  • Seasons.
  • Day & Night.
  • Mutation logs, track last 700 mutations of every individual.
  • Unique first names, so you never lose track of the starting species.
  • Last names are based on physical genes.
  • Cute pixel art drawn by myself.
  • Play as a plant and evolve your specie.
  • Configurable settings in a file.
  • Save & Load for endless simulations!
