Hello everyone!
We've been hard at work this week setting some things straight with Dungeons of Daggerhelm. We've been balancing some of the things with our new melee system and making sure it works correctly. There are still some issues with that (melee range issues). But we are trying to get it to work.
On our plate lately has been our character sprites. Without getting into all of the details, our sprite artist decided that many of them needed to be changed because they too closely resembled character sprites from the indie crafting adventure game Terraria. We didn't adequately make note that our sprites from before are placeholders for later art and they would not appear in the final version of the game.
We figured it was time to make that later art a reality so that there would be no future misunderstandings. We have created a set of new animation sheets that differ tremendously from our previous animation sheets. Take a look:

One last piece of news: We are adding a hidden character to the game that will eventually be found at Broken Shield Castle. Take a look at the animation sheet we've come up with for him:
