Today I briefly talk about the new addition to DoD: killable enemies.

We're slowly approaching prototype mode, which is a playable pre-alpha game mode that we will distribute upon special request (not an open download; we want to keep the testing experience small and limited for more attention to specific details). With the advent of enemy spawns in the first adventure area, it is only fitting to add a way for the player to kill them.

The only playable class currently available (the Ranger) is able to shoot enemies and kill them with a few basic shots. It is a representation of the combat system we are slowly putting into practice. We are slowly hammering away at our list of updates we want to implement next,

As our unofficial sprite artist, I am constantly thinking of different graphics to add to Dungeons of Daggerhelm. We want the environment to have some level of interaction, and a little bit of that is present with the placement of rocks around the first playable map to add choke points and strategic maneuvering. However, I need more.

What I would like are some ideas of what to put in the environment: bushes, shrubs, animals, plants, structures, mountains, wisps, animations, water, and etc. If you, our audience, strongly desire for us to add something you think is cool to our game, please don't hesitate to contact us here about it. We'd be more than happy to take suggestions as to how we can pretty up our environment.
