We have released the 1.020 patch for Drox Operative. Since the last official patch, the patch adds reinforcement, defection, and anti-leader events (IotA), hopefully fixes the Shadow cheating issue, and fixes a bunch of other minor issues.

We have released the 1.020 patch for Drox Operative. Since the last official patch, the patch adds reinforcement, defection, and anti-leader events (IotA), hopefully fixes the Shadow cheating issue, and fixes a bunch of other minor issues.

Here's all of the changes for patch 1.019 & 1.020.

Drox Operative

1.020

  • fixed Shadow getting credits/minerals for lost ships more than once
  • fixed an infinite loop if a help gets too large for screen and has no specified size (Laivasse)
  • increased ancient behind bonus from 1.5 to 2.5
  • changed it so game doesn't run before the player gets into the game
  • decreased Shadow minerals/credit penalty from 0.5 to 0.9
  • went back to lower quality components can have modifiers (causing problems with scavenger stuff) (Tuidjy)
  • no longer announce each defection/reinforcement in galactic karma events (IotA)
  • DPS now has a comma if large enough
  • realigned some stats on character menu to fit larger numbers better (Tuidjy)

  • increased Shadow penalty on credits and minerals from 0.8 to 0.5
  • increased trap ShortDelayMin from 0.25 to 0.75
  • fixed quick negative rumors not working at planet (Tuidjy/Laivasse)
  • now destroying monster race planets and ships increases legend (Tuidjy)
  • scavenger components are now scavenger only (IotA)
  • now get XP from marine kills (wrestless) (IotA)
  • fixed a couple issues preventing races from making all of the station types (Steve) (IotA)
  • fixed another issue with not clearing damage done correctly when a planet switches races (CaptainWinky)
  • increased chance of marine modifier from 0.25 to 0.4 (IotA)
  • if rebels rebel they can now start up the normal race again
  • fixed tractor and repulsor beams freezing enemies sometimes (homyak555)
  • ancients now get bonuses if they are not the most powerful race (IotA)
  • now monster missiles have 25% better chance to hit
  • now monster ballistics have 50% better chance to hit (assuming target doesn't get out of the way)
  • fixed a potential crash in Quest::pickRandomBoss
  • added not available warning when clicking on the shared stash in hardcore
  • made Overlord color darked to not clash with Dryad color as much
  • damaged armor plating no longer makes component almost broken symbol come up on main screen
  • now show race in Unleash an Ancient (supplies) quest title (wrestless) (IotA)
  • now can't use X shows up on chips correctly (Steve) (IotA)
  • resource bonuses only get applied once space stations are completed (IotA)
  • now help that is too long (like Hezog description) automatically resizes to fit better
  • fixed cloaking ships not disappearing correctly when destroyed (Steve)
  • should no longer get unbreakable and durability mult modifiers on the same component (Crisses/ScrObot)
  • server name widget now has twice as much room (Lyranaar)
  • now highlighting shields, armor plating, structure, and energy on character or player menus tells you regen rates also (ScrObot)
  • sector difficultly now defaults better (ScrObot)
  • fixed in some cases help topics could go off screen
  • added a Crew full help topic (Evan)
  • monster races no longer care about uprisings, system attacks, and monster wars (Laivasse)
  • boarding another ship costs more energy per level now (IotA)
  • changed PROTOCOL_VERSION to 22
  • now plagues have a small chance of ending without operative help
  • now have a small not showing loot text icon on the main game screen (Mivo)
  • clouds of nanomites from anomalies now heal your fighters also (Yindo)
  • interceptors will now shoot enemy missiles (eos666)
  • moved pet health bars a little to not overlap power overload warning
  • DPS on character menu now takes into account tactical and bonus skills
  • DPS on character menu now takes into weapon speed and damage buffs
  • no longer show talk button when solving a quest for a monster (Roswitha)
  • now monsters that you have finished quests for fade out properly (Roswitha)
  • fixed loading screen after win or loss
  • fixed battery power relay text having overload warning (Laivasse)
