Da Spokesman ended up gaining his powers from his professor after winning the High School football championship. It was an amulet with a reflective orb that was passed down through his family. Since he saw Da Spokesman as a son figure he gave it to him on a special occasion as this. Interesting thing enough he would not know what the true essence of the orb until one stormy night. He was watching his favorite sport team playing when the orb had started to glow. Then the lightning flash and struck him in the orb and knocked him unconscious. It is during this state the powers are imbued into him since he was a sport fanatic his powers was based on the powers of skill set need for each sport of his favorite teams.
