Creations is a 2D multi-player build-and-destroy game created with RMXP. Players are able to build structures while interacting with each other. Players are also able to create kingdoms in order to claim a map. Kingdoms can be used in many ways, and it's up to the players whether they will create a simple trade route, or make an empire and claim the world. If 2 kingdoms want the same land, they can challenge each other to a battle for the land. The entire world is in the hands of the players. Peaceful or violent, mining or farming, good or evil, the choice is yours.

For the past few weeks, I have been working on getting Creations to a good point before testing. It is almost ready. Prepare to see the fruits of my labor with the exclusive test release next Thursday.

Creations is a game that can be about anything really. It all depends on how the players treat it. It can be a game about trading with other kingdoms, or it can be a game about conquering the world. I have been trying to get the game to a good point for testing, and it is almost time.

Next Thursday, Creations will be released to everyone that signed up for testing. This release will include the following features:

  • Building/Destroying
  • Interactive Tiles (Doors, Chests, and Signs)
  • Hotkey, Map Info, and Item Selection Menus
  • Kingdom creation, land claiming, and land naming
  • 11 different items to build with

This test release will be very important to the game as a whole so that I can fix any problems with it at this stage. So far, about 15 people are signed up for testing. Even up until the end of testing, we will be signing up more testers, so if you want to join the testers, let me know! Keep in mind that the test version will be released exclusively to the testers.

Now some screenshots of what you can pull off in Creations:

And a nice new video showing this city being created:

Just so everyone knows, I will be gone from Saturday until Wednesday and will not be working on the game and most likely not checking this page.

And last of all, a big thank you to everyone that has supported Creations this far. We all hope that you continue to show support. Speaking of which, be sure to like our new Facebook page at Facebook.com and share it with all your friends.

See you all next Thursday!
