Caelis, Latin for to the heavens, takes place in a medieval setting where Finn Archer, a teenage boy, dreams of dragons. However, they have been vanquished from the world....or so he thought. He hears rumors that a sole dragon is alive in a small corner of his world and he vows to find it. Finn wants to tame this dragon and on his quest to do so, he will make painful decisions and meet people that will impact him in ways he never thought possible. Caelis has been in development since December 2014. I work on it in my spare time between between being a high-school freshman and a year-round athlete. However, I have made great progress so far. I have been able to develop features such as melee and ranged combat, a smooth-day-night cycle, AI, pathfinding, looting, shopping, an advanced dialogue system, and much more.
