Long time ago, there were only light and dark. Through play they created gods, two of them. One of them was goddess of death, named Nirala, and second one was god of life, known as Tavor. These two quickly fell in love with each other, and so, they made many children. Aeons later, a whole family of few generations was created.

Gods created and ruled many different races and lived in harmony on a continent called Arilienta. Light and darkness gifted an amulet to lifegod Tavor. It wasn't an ordinary amulet. It was Aidilth, an amulet that held both light and darkness itself within. But a condition followed. He must not have any more children. It granted him power to as his will wishes. To fullfill the contition, he made Nirala unable to give birth.

Years were passing, and Nirala became power greedy and jealous of amulet. She wanted Aidilth's power. To achieve this, she had to make a ritual, which required physical presence of amulet. But she couldn't take it all alone. So, she made a pact with one of her daugthers, Ophelia, and told her what to do, promising great rewards in return. Ophelia was supposed to be masked as Nirala, and seduce Tavor. He was not aware of this conspiracy. Few weeks later, a baby was born.

One god, Inhalet, a truthseer, learned of this conspiracy and revealed it to remainder of gods. Some gods stood on Tavor's side, because he was terribly lied to, and other stood on Nirala's side, who lead the rebellion against him, because after all, he had a child, breaking creator's only condition.

A war of gods started. For few hours, many minions were slain. Some of gods also. That noon, Tavor used amulet's power to banish Nirala into the void, nihility. He also slain all of the god's minions, and all the life that was on the continent. Then, he wrapped Aidilth around his hand and smashed the ground. There was no more Arilienta. Now, left floating on the water, each island is given to be ruled by one god. To prevent anything grim to happen, he broke the amulet into two pieces and hid them both. Then, Tavor fell into eternal dream, given the chance to be awaken by these who truly needed him. This was start of the Second Age.

Long periods have passed, and many trivial things happened. But, one day, grandson of Tavor and Nirala, Zaer, found an artifact. He soon recognized it as Ierilth, one of the Aildith's halves. Zaer started hunting for Aidanu, the remaining half of amulet. Among the first islands he visited, it was Baelur, island of granddoughter to Nirala, Lepteria. He had personal revenge on her, reason is a whole story you will hear other time.

Demigod, a son of Lepteria and a mortal, her only son, who was coming back from Kadaria, where he took his training, caught persons he once knew slain. Whole his village. But his mother was not there. What he will learn, and what could happen... You'll see.
