This is the first in a series of games that will take the Adventures Apes from one location to the next, one era to the next, all in an effort to keep the world's most precious treasures out of Horatio's hands! The fully illustrated instruction booklet complete with level maps is ready to go!

It took many, MANY hours to pull off, but I've finished work on the instruction booklet, and am including it with every download of the game off my site directly. A separate copy is available as well if you click the link here...or you can always check the Addon section for the game as it's now included there :)

One of the cool things about the booklet is that there are maps of each level, so you can get straight to the goods (if you're the kind of person who likes taking the easy way out that is). Of course, they only show you were the essential things are located, and part of the fun of adventure platformers is the aspect of exploration. Either way though, the instruction booklet should be a fun addition to the game!

Here's a little sample of the finished product:

Yes Theon, metroidvania...After many years of research and social debate, I coined the term to describe games which are of the non-linear side-scrolling exploration variety.

Okay, so I didn't come up with it, but it's a heck of a lot easier typing that compared to non-linear side-scrolling exploration game over and over! :)
