2x0ng is a procedural puzzle-combat roguelike game rendered in an 8-bit retro style. Pronounce it "TOO-zong". You control a little pixel-person running through a procedurally-generated maze; with your bouncing, color-changing Squareball, you can match colors to unlock new areas, and destroy an onslaught of enemies as you make your way to the exit. The rest of the rules are for you to discover in-game.

It's been a wild journey from concept to completion on my game 2x0ng. The "official" release of the game, version 1.0, has been released for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

This version includes a frame-rate bugfix, and now of course the title screen says "1.0". Furthermore, Mac users will have access to the red/green color blindness mode for the first time, as well as all the bugfixes brought in since Release Candidate 1.

To the fans who've contributed so much to this project---it's been my pleasure to work with you! I hope you will enjoy the final result.

Don't hesitate to report further bugs or feedback---and I am happy to implement further accessibility improvements such as support for yellow/blue color-blindness. I can be reached at dto@blocky.io .

Now, the downloads!
