mod starts downloads but reads missing app Thread

so mod will start to download but when click on the download it says mod error app missing or program file

Are you having this issue with just one mod? Or any files from different mods? And is this a recently occurring issue for you?

any file they show up as web pages in download file

tried to download brewlan mod and when i click on it to open window pops up and says

This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. please install an app or ,create an association in the Default App Setting page .
