Wreckage offers an action-oriented presentation, professional execution, complete dubbing
and Crysis-level graphics. Developed by the four-man-team around Christopher Held, who
also already developed "The Harbour" and "Rainy Days".
It's the final chapter of the story, that began with the map "The Harbour" and was continued in the
modification "Rainy Days". It tells the story of three soldiers who try to survive a devastating war
between two worlds. The play time is somewhat longer than one hour.
INSTALLATION
>> Install Wreckage where you want.
(Make sure you have the Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed. If you are not sure,
just install either the 32 bit or 64 bit package from the included 'vcredist' folder.)
>> Start Wreckage in either 32 or 64 Bit with the exe file in the "Wreckage/Bin32" or "Wreckage/Bin64" folder. (We prefer the 64 bit version, as it prevents the most memory issues.)
>> A click on "Single Player->New Game" will start the first act.
(To load them manually use our chapter system you can find in the Crysis main menue ("Single Player->Chapter Selection") or open the console with ^ and type in "map wreckage", "map wreckage_part2" or "map wreckage_part3".)
BUGS
Nothing happens ingame
Load the corresponding chapter with our chapter system you can find in the Crysis main menue ("Single Player->Chapter Selection").
Dialogues are too quiet!
Increase the volume of the dialogues in the ingame Crysis menue or lower the music and sounds.
Weapon/grenades bug!
If you can't toss grenades or change weapons, restart your game. This is a known Crysis Wars bug.
Weak performance
Lower the shadow and shader settings in the ingame menue.
Play Crysis Wars in 64-bit if your system allows it.

Am grünen Haus auf dem Hügel in Akt 1 angekommen,wird den beteiligten Marines klar, wieso trotz heftiger Hafenbelagerung Zeit für eine Geiselrettung bleibt:
Die Frau besitzt dank ihrer Forschung den Schlüssel, das Raumschiff zu öffnen!
Cafferty hat eine dunkle Vermutung: Die Koreaner kennen den Code, die Frau hat es ihnen verraten. (Im ersten Ladebildschirm "Warten Sie... Ich weiß wie es geht.")
Auf einmal sind alle gegen sie. Admiral Scoresby würde mit diesem Wissen wegen des umkämpften Hafens keine Helikoptergeschwader schicken. Die Koreaner sind auf dem Weg zum Raumschiff, mitsamt des Codes! Und draußen ist die Hölle los.
Letztendlich schickt Admiral Scoresby aus dem Hafen nur einen lächerlichen Helikopter.
"Der Helikopter landet nicht, bevor Sie uns den ****** Code durchgegeben haben!"
Cafferty schickt ihn über Funk - es ist der Schrei eines Alienbabys, was das Raumschiff sofort reagieren lässt.
"*******! Das Ding reagiert, es hat geantwortet, man!" MARINE 1
"Ok, Major, holen Sie Ihre wichtigsten Männer und raus da!" ADMIRAL SCORESBY
Sie fliehen zum Heli, die Frau beichtet Cafferty, dass die Koreaner von dem Code wissen und unterwegs sind, er soll es Admiral Scoresby sagen! Aber schon werden sie von der gigantischen, durch den Funk ausgelösten, Druckwelle des Raumschiffs zu Boden geschleudert und Nomad verbrennt elendig, eingeschlossen im Feuer.
I have not much time due to school but I think I could help with italian translations, if you want to add them to the game in future. Tell me if its ok..
Oh, I really appreciate your offer! We always want to ensure the best enjoyable experience for players so I asked for help by translating Wreckage in different languages a time ago. But now we are just happy to released the mod and nee a break from modding. So we don't plan to update the standalone version right now. :)

Hi guys,
I've tested the 32/64 bits .exe for standalone version and I've "Black screen", just mouse icon appear in white + sound of rainning.
Waiting 10 minutes but just raining sound.
My spec : I5 2500k@4.7 / 8 Go ram / ATI 5970 (cat 12.4 + cap 1)/ win7 x64
Note: No problem with crysis 1 / warhead / 2 in my computer.
Found in WreckageGame.log last line:
[Error] File sounds/interface/interface.fev open failed!
System:Quit <=(MY Alt+F4)
Re-Downloading standalone version and all is ok.

It's installed in german, how do I change the language?
When you first start Wreckage, an input box should appear and you have to enter 1,2,3 for German,English or Spanish subtitles. If you typed in the wrong number, browse to the Wreckage/Game/Localized folder and delete the "Default.lng" file. When you start Wreckage now, the input box should appear again.
Also just the subtitles are translated, the spoken language is always German.

What pc configuration do you have? In fact you can just copy the Wreckage folder to any location you want.
Maybe your download is corrupted? Please try a re-download and if this doesn't help, post the content of the WreckageGame.log file here please. Maybe it can help to locate the problem.
I have a problem with ACT II.It loads only me in the field.

Did you try to load Act 2 with the chapter system in the main menue>singleplayer?

No it doesn't show ACT II in the chapters menu even if i started it.Can someone upload his saves with all the chapters?
Then open the "Profile.xml" with notepad from "Wreckage_CrysisWars_Standalone_1_0_0 \Game\Libs\UI\Chapters". Modify the numer to 12, save it and you could select every chapter ingame. I hope this helps.

Only in theory possible :D We integrated Rainy Days a while ago, but we have to fix an enormous count of bugs, before we can even think of a release. And it's pretty hard to motivate yourself for something you finished 2 years ago xD So maybe in the near future, a "trilogy" edition with all 3 projects together will be released, but no promises yet ;)

Are you shure, that you downloaded the standalone version?
Well I did use Desura to dl the suppose standalone version
The standalone is only available as a single download not about Desura. At the top of this page you can find the right one. It weights about 1,8 Gbyte.
I have a problem running wreckage standalone version.
When running win32 version - get a run error - d3dx9_34.dll not found.

Hello guys, I'm having trouble how to stay close to maj. cafferty on act III. everytime I've try to follow maj. cafferty I'm always getting deak because of the time limit. How could I ran faster to stay close to maj. cafferty? Thanks for any help I would get here. I hope there's someone who encountered this.
