The stations don't unlock with the accompanying vanilla schematic. The tool tip states the schematic unlocks, but it requires the skill.
Correct. They are not hooked up to the schematics and will be removed. It appears A21 will also remove schematics beyond mod attachments.
This mod has now been updated with all schematic requirements removed. Unlocking is through Advanced Engineering or the Physician Perk depending on Work Station. A new Oakraven Cement Mixer has also been added to the collection.
