NOTE: This is a limit-removing map but please use a source port that supports .OGG (such as Zdoom or GZDoom) if you want to hear the music. This is part 2 of my UAC-M series, an attempt to recreate "Knee Deep in the Dead" according to a personal vision. This retains the basic concept of E1M2 but expands greatly on it. Contains a handful of new home-brewed textures and uses the "Doom textures for Doom 2" resource from Realm667.
Had a lot of fun with this one. E1M2 is a classic map, and my goal was to think about its different elements and reinterpret them through my own personal aesthetic and design. Extensive testing went into this, to make it as pretty and fun as possible. There are difficulty settings, although HNTR is a bit barren. One thing I really enjoyed about making this map was the attempt to create logical consistency with everything; the doors, switches and visual queues all serve to create a coherent experience for the player. The music was created in FL Studio, and is taken from my electronic project Visplane Overflow. Make sure to play the mod in a source port that supports .OGG if you want to hear it.
