Update: I'm very sorry I uploaded a non-functioning version of this mod instead of the final version as intended. I've replaced the files and again I apologize for the mishap :/

Yes, just take the files and paste them in the same place as you would in the Gekokujo main directory. Replacing music only relies on inserting the mp3s you want and listing them in the music.txt so there shouldn't be any issue

I'm not associated with the main mod team, and I think it's long-defunct so I can't do anything about adding custom troops

for some reason it isn't playing even though i followed the steps, I pasted the music.txt just after i finished pasting the music.

So you only replaced both items in the main folder? The only issue i coukd think of could be on my end. Could you go into the music.txt and check how many lines there are of text? If there is one more than the number at the top of the file says it should be working

Sorry if this is late. I did remove the old music. The lines on the music.txt has a total of 94 and the number at the top says 93, I ran Warband and the music still doesn't play-

I'm afraid I don't know what to tell you, the installation should only be as simple as pasting in the 2 files and when I run it there are no issues. Are you absolutely sure that there isn't anything irregular with how you installed it? I'm sorry to say I'm kind of at a loss of what your issue is being caused by :/

Tell you what, I want you to try an experiment for me. Go into the music.txt and (first copy and paste elsewhere) delete everything below "cant_find_this.ogg" and above "SW4-Menu-Secrecy.mp3 272629888 272629888", then change the "93" at the top to "2". Save the file and then boot up the game. If nothing plays during the main menu screen then I'm afraid the issue is something unrelated to the files, but if it *does* play I may get a better idea of what your problem is

I realized I'm a massive idiot.

I pasted the txt into the music folder XD
It's now working for me.

I'm so sorry to have bothered you with this mistake of mine. Thanks for responding though!
