Hey guys, it's ScatterBox here!! So here's the release for Slender PSP. It's 1.0 release, so it's pretty finished!
The real only known bugs to me are:
1. The flashlight turns off on it's own sometimes since I just used the buggy Inside3D flashlight. xD
2. Sometimes Slender can't see you when he spawns.
3. Sometimes the music restarts when you pick up a new page.
4. There may be some on PHAT (1000) since I don't have one to test it on.
This release is FULL FEATURED.
It has MOST of the things from the PC version in it. Keep in mind that Slender spawns AFTER you have collected 2 pages. You will know by the music. ;) The music gets heavier and heavier as you collect more pages. Slender does not teleport though, and I WILL NOT ADD THIS FEATURE! It would be ridiculous on PSP, and most likely make it lag a lot more. It would also make the game insanely hard.
INSTALL:Place the "SlenderPSP" folder in your "PSP/GAME" directoryIF on PHAT (1000) PSP then delete EBOOT.PHP and rename "EBOOT_PHAT.PHP" to "EBOOT.PHP"
We plan to release an "updated version" later on featuring a mapping SDK, and a bonus map pack, as well as a user map browser, so you can play your custom maps without having to use the console.

very bad qc... alot of quakestuff is still in there:
couldnt load sound ("randompath/randomname.wav")
gets spammed on the console...
Some maptextures has wrong palette.
Flashlight goes thru the floor sometimes.
Also why does Slender hoover over the ground? He doesnt seems to play aniamtions or any other stuff...
Alright, I'm going to be releasing a hotfix and fix all of the console spams. I'm also going to remove as much default quake code I can, but I pretty much just threw this together. And also slender has no animations. It's slender. xD
One thing that we do need is the fact that slender doesnt slide along, but teleport (perhaps a waypoint system)
We also need to make sure you take damage only by looking at him
I agree, the flashlight is the first thing that needs fixing, and slender should instantly kill you. the "couldnt load sound" needs to be fixed before I rip my hair out and tape it on Slenderman himself. slender is very buggy looking.
Some good things:
The movement controls work nicely, I enjoyed moving. The visuals were pretty quake-ish, and I like that classic look (but it's not like PSP homebrew is the pinnacle of technical achievement).
It's a good go at putting Slender on the PSP, but you gotta fix the falshlight...
can the devs change the analog movement, so that instead of turning right or left you step right or left(vita gamer ^^)
i also wish you add a torch model, which adds atmosphere and would make the game more awesome
this was me by the way ^^
Just turn on Anolog Strafing
and the original game diddnt have a torch, but since the papers are categorized as weapons, it would vanish until you hit the button again.
If we do make another survival horror later on (which we might if BTL is complete) we might add a torch model

welp... i have never actually played the PC version of this before... and i see this right now before my set "bed time"... so i am going to play this for a bit... in the dark... THIS BETTER SCARE ME!!!
nope... not a single scare... not even the jump scare i was expecting of "he's right behind you!!!"... nope just an easy game... with 0% replay ability level!

It's a little too easy, I suggest adding random spawn points for the pages. the music was pretty good you should add jump scare sounds.

wo slenderman scared the crap out of me at first! lol. But it would be better if he appeared and re-appeared instead of follow you around which made it a bit easy. Also remove every source of light in the game apart from the torch and sky. i only played the Campground map and the whole area was illuminated because of the big *** street lamps and campfires, which made it feel less scary and made the map seem allot smaller. It should be completely dark.
Contact with slenderman should be an instant kill, and try to add an effect like a fuzzy screen showing upon death. There are also some buggy textures that need to be fixed like the fence, and try to get some proper models for things like cars and trees. it looks like you squashed a few rectangles together to make that car. couldn't u import a ready-made one?
The music was really good though, keep up the work.
I enjoy the game but slender should either static your vision or at least have a walking animation

Oh, by the way, can you make too a SLENDER SPACE PC for PSP?
