A 'beta' version of the game, which may have unpolished artwork, sprites and dialogue.
And this mod was actually released on the 29th of May instead...
This lacks key features such as custom city names for non-Pepperstotzkan nations (which will be decided on in the Peppers, Please Steam Discussion Thread) and actual peppers (which will require a large amount of work in terms of sprites and the rulebook, for now they are just 'pepper ports').
Feel free to suggest any improvements and oversights, but please note that the 'Papers, Please' quote; 'Glory to Arstotzka' and 'Arstotzka Ministry of Admission' in the bulletin cannot be changed as they are likely hardcoded and not available for modification (since they always appear).
Installation and Playing
- Extract the zip file into the mods folder in your Papers, Please Beta Installation.
- Use a command prompt at the installation to run Papers, Please with a launch option like so:
- PapersPlease.exe "mods\PeppersPlease"
- Alternatively, you could add it onto steam and use the 'Launch Option' in the properties in the same way
