I checked this version, and it has serious problems with lighting. Dynamic lighting does not work as intended (it's almost broken or disabled somehow). This makes the game nearly unplayable (and look like ugly $h*t). I'm not sure where is the problem, probably game dlls and engine dll are not relevant to each other, or maybe game dlls have been compiled improperly (or some king of debug build is used). Or maybe some unknown settings have to be tweaked. The only working thing I found, is gl_brightness parameter. You can set it from 0.5 to 1 (instead of 0 by default) to make things brighter. But it's still not a correct lighting, and normal maps on objects look bad, so everything around too.

I started the game and then my screen was too bright and dim even i quited the game. How do i fix this issue?
Start the game again, then quit it normally. Desktop brightness will be fixed.
