It is placed on top of the existing rewriting of the original files. The mod, with some nuances-artifacts (the number of grenades in the inventory, the size of the sight, the inability to ride a horse, in the case where this is possible) will look on the client’s machine in the old way, while the values are changed on the server. Those. Everyone can play this mod, even without modifying the mod on the client’s machine. What changes did I make?
1.I added grenades to grenadiers. The grenade is already in the game: this is holy grenade (cheat for admins). Having slightly changed the sound of a throw from shouting "Aliluya" to "throwing a stone", it turned into an almost standard grenade :) In connection with the nuances of the grenade engine, it is better to buy infantry at the end of the first minute of the game. All countries that have grenadiers buy grenades, and countries that do not have them, buy grenades to the guards (as it actually was in the historical sense). You can use a grenade by switching to a blunt
2.In the game, not all ulans and Cossacks also have a spear, and for those who have, there is no way to get the sword in the inventory. I fixed this bug. Now all Lancers (Ulans, Cossacks) have their own spear and saber, which can be switched by pressing the down arrow on the keyboard
3.Changed the balance: a) handed cuirassiers and many other cavalrymen with firearms, which they historically had, b) changed the accuracy, now the bullet flies more precisely than before and the scope already. We must not forget that 75% of the musket fire hit the target at a distance of 100 meters, and in the game it’s good if one of the squad gets at this distance: - \, which in my opinion is not believable; c) cavalry has become no less dangerous than infantry and now deals more damage than before. Do not forget that a horse galloping at a speed of 40-50 km / h is dangerous in itself, even without a rider in real life;)
4.Added the ability to select the engineer class, instead of the standard infantry officer (first 10 seconds of the match). Now you can take an engineer by pressing the up arrow for the first 10 seconds at the beginning of the match and build defenses from cavalry and a cannon for guns, but you will receive a penalty for the lack of a standard officer who can add accuracy if the squad class is enabled on the server
5. Added the ability to choose a doctor instead of a standard infantry officer (first 10 seconds of a match). Now you can take a doctor by pressing the arrow to the right for the first 10 seconds at the beginning of a match and heal your wounded soldiers with a bandage. Do not forget that recovery of health is possible for one soldier up to 50% per game (as it was provided for by default)
6.You can regain the usual officer by pressing the arrow to the left for the first 10 seconds at the beginning of the match, if you decide to change your mind about taking the medic or engineer.
7. Added the ability to purchase an infantry set for the first 10 seconds at the beginning of a match by pressing the V button. The infantry set includes: a musket with a bayonet, a grenade and a tube
8. Added the ability to purchase a cavalry set, for the first 10 seconds at the beginning of a match, by pressing the B button. The cavalry set includes: broadsword, 2 grenades and a trumpet
9. Changed maps to custom. Due to the fact that the generation of maps creates too large, voluminous and unreal mountains, I removed it by making custom random maps.
