Since our last AT1 release, 2.3.0 features more Mechs, new weapons, new singleplayer maps and dozens of upgrades to our ICE engine including water, weathering, and vegetation rendering updates. If you mean do you need a Mechwarrior game then NO. This is not a Mechwarrior mod/expansion it is a total remake.
When I try to load up the game I get this error message:
