Hello!

We are a passionate team striving to break into the interactive digital media industry. We're looking for dedicated individuals interested in helping us carry our project to demo, then getting financial backing, and getting the game out.

Project Description:

We are making an RTS with an RPG-style campaign. Each faction has it's own flavor, from gameplay style, to building style, to art and origin.

Project Overview

Landfall is an RTS set in the near future, where humans have not managed to leave the solar system, however they have military bases on the moon. There is a high tech robotic faction slumbering beneath the sands of Egypt, and it has been slowly reaching out and expanding. A spaceborne alien experiment gone wrong is consuming its way across the universe, and one of its beacons has discovered Earth, and calls to the rest for the meat it has found.

Mission Statement

We are making an RTS game that allows the player to (through the campaign, and Tech Tree) make decisions that will have a direct effect on the trajectory of the campaign, on cutscenes, and on units and abilities made available to the Player.

Open positions:

Note: we are a team, and to work with us means being cordial, and a team player. Personally, I'd rather work with someone who's good at their job, and works well with others, than someone who's fantastic at their job, and can't work well with others. We are currently based in Discord, so do be aware of that.

Concept Artist

The Concept Artist will be responsible for creating concepts for our 3D modelers as well as concepts for the pitch. You will be expected to draft and illustrate the ideas we generate. Concepts will be a mix of vehicles, structures, and biological creatures.

2D Artist

2D Artists will generate in game portraits, and Cutscenes will also be 2D comic-styled, with minimal movements of parts of the image.

3D Artist

3D Artists will be generating environmental pieces (buildings, trees, etc...) for maps, units (vehicles, infantry, etc...), structures, etc...

Designer

UI to be designed, the Gameplay and underlying Systems to be refined, and the Levels fleshed out.

Requirements:

  • Experience with some level of Programming (Bonus)
  • Experience in Technical Design Documentation
  • A good eye for generating intuitive UI and systems
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Passionate and respectful
  • Keen attention to detail
