The first Demo is out, it's pretty basic, but it's a start.
For those who don't know, Stargate Serenity is a 2d Sci-fi Platform game.
Demo Content:
-1 Space Mission
-A Stargate That dials, then spawns your ship
-A new race of Aliens - The "Dea 'Kesta" (Pronounced De-Kest)

The Game:
For starters it's got a nifty launcher (modified one from 'Star Wars Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy') And an easy setup, The menu is simple, the control scheme is also simple, but it isn't documented. The sprites, I admit look crude, but for a first shot at a game, it isn't too bad. The sounds have been taken from various games (listed at *) and all the sprite designing, programming, level designing and Launcher designing, Was done by me, myself, and I. Anyone out there that can provide help, please do. All you need is experience with GML and Game Maker 8 Lite(Pro Would Be EXTREMELY Helpful).
PS. I'm currently having problems with my internet, I'll put the demo online as soon as I can. My website is still under development and won't be accessible.
