We are a small and passionate team looking for aspiring or professional artists who are interested in creating a selection of replica weapon models with VR as a focus.
These models will be used as prototype content (and potentially final content) for one of our publicly released early-access modules (can expect the module to be publicly released for sale within 1-2 weeks after artwork is complete).

Payment:
Prototype work is restricted to revenue share from the relevant module; if used in the future as final release content, other forms of payment may apply. Potential for paid full-time role in the future, depending on performance and interest; future opportunities include asset creation for characters, items, props and environments.

Modeler Requirements:
- Understanding of low-poly game asset creation
- Ability to UV map for textures
- Capable of replicating shape and detail from visual references
- Ability to accurately replicate scale, with the patience to research and reference correct measurements
Beneficial but not a requirement:
- Use and understanding of clean topology
- Experience creating LOD meshes
- Experience laying out non-overlapping UVs for lightmaps
- Experience exporting to FBX correctly for UE4

Texture Artist Requirements:
- Proficiency in creating diffuse textures
- Proficiency in creating normal textures
- Experience in texture mapping both diffuse and normal textures
Beneficial but not a requirement:
- Experience creating LOD textures

Project:
We are developing a multiplayer modern survival shooter with Unreal Engine 4; built with a focus on VR support for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Modules Explained:
The game's mechanics are being split up into playable modules, which will be coupled together to form the complete game.
Modules allow us to create publicly playable content in short time spans for the community to purchase, experience and test our game during the development cycle. They also mean lowering the cost for the community to try content rather than being deterred by only having the option to pay full price for the game/all modules.
