GTX Studios is a new-start game development studio, with it's primary focus on utilizing the excellent technology of the Darkplaces engine. Originally, when we first decided on starting GTX Studios, we planned to use the UDK which uses the Unreal Engine. While we still plan to utilize this in the future, for now, our next release will be based entirely on the Darkplaces engine. You can read more about this on our tech pages on our website.

We're currently looking for an experienced 3D Modeller to join our brand new, open-source FPS project. "Trinity" is a fast paced futuristic shooter, planned for BETA release in September 2010. The team currently consists of 7 members from the UK, Australia, Canada and the Ukraine, working on varying aspects of the game such as Code, Mapping, Conceptual Art, and Music.

The person we are looking for should be able to take direction from the art director about the different cultural concepts and styles of the worlds within the game, to create high quality weapon and item models. You will be working from 2d conceptual artwork to create these models, although you may be required to be very creative, and design something yourself. As these models will be seen by and used players on a daily basis, an excellent attention to detail is required. You must have experience of working with model animation and skinning.
