Hello everyone
I just recently had a job offer for a 2D artist which was quite successful. Now I‘ll try again with a 3D artist.
Before I go into the game let me tell you about the nature of this project:
This project is entirely unpaid and there is no revshare. Naturally, this means that the game will NOT be sold in any way. So why make a game if no one gets paid? Because this project is for all those that wish to get started with game dev, have developed the abilities and skills to get started but have yet to create a portfolio. You don‘t need a degree or any professional experience at all. If you‘ve practiced your craft for a bit and are comfortable in your current abilities AND you are passionate about it, then that‘s all that is needed.
We are looking for people that wish to start or expand their portfolio so it has a bit more meat on the bone, so to speak. People that are motivated and passionate and eager to gain experience. But beaware, neither payment nor revshare is a part of this. The final product will be distributed for free, NOT sold. This way we can ensure that we all work on it for the experience.
Now, finally, about the game:
You are an android or robot of some sort and due to unfortunate events have stranded on an island with a group of humans. However, these humans are incompetent fools and would die within a day if they‘re on their own. Your job is to keep yourself and them alive and find a way off the island. The problem: Your hardware is not made for survival so you lack the physical capabilities to perform the tasks required to survive. You have to find a way to teach the humans said tasks and hope they perform them sufficiently. Meanwhile, you try to explore the island, upgrade and maintain yourself and find a way off the island. Together or alone.
