ModDB is looking for a game programmer to lead the creation of a modding SDK. This position involves working with a REST API containing data from ModDB, that developers can integrate into their game to make modding a breeze. Apply here.
For 15 years we have been running a community dedicated to creators who mod games. Today we reach 200,000 users daily who seek new gaming content, and it's time for us to evolve from a reactive modding solution to a proactive one. Right now the only proactive modding SDK on the market is Steam Workshop, and while it is a brilliant solution adopted by many games, we believe competition is healthy and necessary to push the industry forward.
Modding is the best part of PC gaming and it's only getting stronger as the tools get better. We plan on playing a big role in its future and need your help to make that happen.
